UTILITY CLERK/DEPUTY CITY CLERK

The City of Gerald, a 4th Class City, is seeking a qualified candidate for a part time position for utility clerk/deputy city clerk. Duties include but are not limited to election administration support, licensing, water and sewer utility accounting, provides administrative support to the City Clerk in areas including general municipal government, accounting operations; and is responsible to work in the City Clerk’s absence.   High School graduate or GED required; experience in accounting, business, or other office duties preferred. 

Must possess excellent customer relation skills and be able to communicate well with the public.  Computer experience with Microsoft Office programs helpful.  The position requires organizational skills, accuracy, computer literacy, the ability to multi-task, a self-starter, a professional attitude, valid driver’s license, and be able to work collaboratively in a small office environment.
