Amendment to Chapter 405

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the city of Gerald will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 6:00pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be properly heard, at 106 E. Fitzgerald Ave., Gerald, Missouri 63037. The Board of Aldermen will hear public comment and consider the recommendation of amending the municipal code of the City of Gerald by amending Chapter 405 pertaining to medical marijuana uses as required by Article XIV, Section 1 of the Missouri Constitution.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the city of Gerald will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be properly heard, at 106 E. Fitzgerald Ave., Gerald, Missouri 63037.  The Board of Aldermen will hear public comments and consider the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning a rezoning from C-1(City-Owned) District to R-1(Single-Family) District of following prescribed property:

Commonly known as 719 S. West End Avenue, Gerald MO 63037

Legal Description

Part of lots one (1), two (2), three (3) and four (4) Block two (2) in Scrivener’s Addition to the Town (now city) of Gerald, described as follows:  Beginning at the Southwest corner of Block 2 in Scrivener’s Addition, thence South 89 degrees 56 minutes East along the North line of Grandview Street, 150 feet to a point, thence North 1 degree 30 minutes East 100 feet to a point, thence North 89 degrees 56 minutes West 181.0 feet to a point on the East line of West End Avenue, thence South 15 degrees 51 minutes East along the Southwest line of West End Avenue 103.95 feet to the point of beginning.

Gerald Ambulance District hereby reserves a 20 foot wide easement over the East 20 feet of the West 39 feet 8 inches of the South 100 feet of Lot 4 in Block 2 of Scrivener’s Addition to the Town (now city) of Gerald, Missouri.  For ingress and egress to a helipad.
