The Gerald City Park or Gerald Legion Park are both great places to come and spend time with the family having fun or just relaxing.
Fact: The Gerald Lions Club first purchased the 75.6 acre park in 1970. The deed was soon after handed over to the City for the land. A Park Board was then appointed shorty after.
The Gerald Park contains a large stocked lake great for fishing

Several pavilions are available to use or rent for birthday parties, school or family outings, and much more.
A walking trail wraps around the lake for those that do not just want
to sit and enjoy the view.

The Gerald Legion Park offers family fun and history, including a playground, Veteran's Memorial, and the Rock Island Depot, which was built in 1902.
