Government
The City of Gerald is run by the city's five elected officials: the Mayor and four Aldermen.
Each ward consists of two elected Aldermen. Each member of the board serve for a term of two years.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen meet for a regular council meeting once a month on the second Thursday at 7:30 pm at the City Hall. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.
